Bilateral complete syndactylism of all fingers
1. 1. Two cases of complete bilateral syndactylism were found in brother and sister. The mother of the patient had had a severe syndactylism of both hands. These deformities are of congenital origin and represent a regressive atavistic trait. 2. 2. Restoration of six fingers with their corresponding metacarpals was secured on both hands in the one patient reported in this paper. He is able to do many things with either hand that he could not do before the operation.
