New measurements of liquid helium temperatures: I. The boiling point of helium
Summary This paper deals with a new determination of the normal boiling point of helium. Use was made of a helium thermometer with reduced ice point pressure read by means of a hot wire manometer. A description of the apparatus is given. The helium boiling point was derived from the hydrogen boiling point. The result was 4.216oK
