Introduction:
Zhang Jijia (January 1, 1930 – October 5, 1995) was an expert in atmospheric science and a native of Jixi, Anhui Province. He was long engaged in atmospheric circulation and long-term weather forecasting, teaching and scientific research, and was an academic leader in this field in China. He was the first in China to introduce the directly proportional function method into the research of atmospheric circulation and long-term weather forecast, objectively dividing the natural weather seasons, and proposing an objective forecast plan for weather abnormalities.
