The Apple Watch 2 was unveiled at the big Apple event in San Francisco.
New features include a more advanced fitness tracker and an app to remind you to “Breathe,” to go along with the current “Stand Up!” reminder.
But one of the biggest reveals is that the splashproof watch is now “swimproof.”
This means it’s waterproof up to 50 meters (more than 160 feet), so you can now swim wearing it, worry-free.
Other highlights are:
SOS — for quick access to 911
A dual processor that’s 50% faster
Built-in GPS.
And there’s a new, sporty Nike+ version.
The new Apple Watch Series 2 will be priced at $369, as will the Apple Watch Nike+, but If that’s too steep for you, you’ll be happy to know the base price of the old Apple Watch, now called Series 1, will drop to $269.
