RCREEE participate in the MENA Network on Low Carbon Development for Inclusive Growth

RCREEE had signed a partnership contract with the World Bank to launch the MENA Network on Low Carbon Development for Inclusive Growth. This network will enable governments’ collaboration for transformative change within the countries and across the Arab region. The network will also facilitate sharing required Knowledge and experience for supporting green growth development opportunities. The network will include the required support, priority actions, policies and benefits of moving to a low-carbon development in the region.
Furthermore, the Network will combine regional workshops with regular video-linked or web-based connections.
Organizing the Network first event, the Regional Workshop on Low Carbon Development took place in Marseille, France, September 24-26 2012. It brought together inter-ministerial teams from participating countries. This event constitutes the official launch of the regional network and its knowledge-sharing activities.
