Discover the winners of our “Youth in Action” Photo Contest!

UNESCO is delighted to announce the winners of the first edition of the international photo contest “Youth in Action”. This contest is organized by the Youth Programme, which is part of UNESCO’s Social and Human Sciences Sector. Its aim is to promote youth social engagement through a more creative lens.

Young people (aged 18-35) from across the globe were asked to submit images that captured their work towards creating a better future for all. Suggested themes included fighting climate change, building peace, strengthening civic space, and empowering youth. From nearly 500 submissions, three winners were selected through a two-step voting process.
