Journal of Nuclear Materials Best Paper 2021 Prize

The Editors and Publisher of The Journal of Nuclear Materials are pleased to announce the winners of the Best Paper 2021 Award.

The award goes to "Post-LOCA ductility of Cr-coated cladding and its embrittlement limit", written by  Yook Hyunwoo, Koroush Shirvan, Bren Phillips, and Youho Lee.

The winner receives a plaque, which will be presented at the 2022 NUMAT conference. The winner is also invited to give at talk at NUMAT detailing the research presented in the paper.

The Journal of Nuclear Materials Best Paper Prize is now awarded annually. A shortlist of papers is compiled based on the number of times a paper has been downloaded over a timeframe post-publication. The shortlist is then presented to the Senior Editors of the Journal of Nuclear Materials, who select the ultimate winner.

Youho Lee will present the paper on Thursday 27 October, during NUMAT 2022. This year’s winning paper can be viewed here:
