We are pleased to announce that the next session of Gender Views will be on “Black Feminism and Intersectionality: why it is necessary?” with the participation of Ms Djamila Ribeiro. Ms Ribeiro will help us understand how the concept of intersectionality affects black women and gender equality in general. Ms Ribeiro is a Brazilian philosopher and former Vice-Secretary for Human Rights and Citizenship Affairs in the municipal government of São Paulo.

This Gender Views will take place Friday 24 May from 12:00 to 13:30 in Room VII.
