SoftBank’s subsidiary BBIX has introduced the ‘BBIX for Microsoft Azure Peering Service’, which is compatible with the Azure Peering Service. The Azure Peering Service can be used as if users are connected using a closed connection via the public internet when accessing Microsoft cloud services, such as Microsoft 365 and other SaaS (Software as a Service) services running on the Microsoft Cloud.

Until now, Microsoft has provided Azure ExpressRoute to a limited number of customers as a closed connection service to Microsoft 365 and other SaaS services, but Azure Peering Service is now available to all companies regardless of business type and type of industry, BBIX said.
