Vodafone Ukraine doubles mobile wallet users in H1

Vodafone Ukraine announced that the user base of its mobile wallet SharPay increased by 104 percent year-on-year in the first half of this year. The number of transactions grew by 38 percent, and the payment volume increased by 63 percent. The average transaction valure rose by 23 percent, to UAH 466.  

Banking and financial services generated 69 percent of all transactions, the share of telecommunications services amounted to 20 percent, and games and applications formed 9 percent.

The service was launched in 2017, after earlier being offered under the Vodafone Pay brand.
