The activity “El fons antic de la Universitat de Barcelona amb perspectiva de gènere” (Rare Book and Manuscript Library of the University of Barcelona with gender perspective) will take place on October 27 and 28. This is a dual initiative joining sessions and an exhibition and it results from the collaboration of the Rare Book and Manuscript Library with lecturer Mariela Fargas, from the Area of Modern History. The initiative is an advance on the research on the rare book and manuscript library of the University of Barcelona and it aims to highlight the possibilities of historical studies that give visibility to women, as well as to show a didactic plan to promote an equalitarian memory and share the archive with gender perspective.

Although the two activities were expected to take place as face-to-face activities, the situation resulting from the pandemic changed the initiative to adapt it into this context, so the proposal will take place online. The sessions can be followed online in the BB Collaborate platform on October 27 and 28. One can access these sessions fifteen minutes before they start and there is no registration required.
