A strong winter storm is bringing snow to the Lone Star State today and will deliver it to parts of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama through tonight.  Here is the latest winter weather forecast.

Winter Alerts

Winter weather alerts have been issued for New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi. These are areas where heavy snow will be possible and hazardous travel will be likely.

Winter Storm Impacts

Numerous cities and towns could see impacts from this system. This includes dangerous roads, low visibility and the possibility of power outages.

Forecast

The latest forecast has the snow and wintry weather moving from West to East. So West Texas today and more towards East Texas and Louisiana for tonight and Monday morning.
