Wind Chill Alerts

Wind chill advisories and warnings are in place for the Northern High Plains and Upper Midwest for Tuesday morning.  These alerts extend south into the plains of Nebraska and Kansas.

Tuesday Morning Wind Chills

More dangerous wind chills were out there earlier this morning.  Duluth was down to -37° just before sunrise on Monday

Wind Chill Forecast

Here is a look at the forecast for wind chills for the rest of the day and into Wednesday morning. Even when we get into the afternoon, the wind chills will still be very strong.  The wind chills will be dangerous near the Canadian border again on Wednesday morning.

These wind chills are extremely dangerous and if you live in these areas you will want to stay indoors.  If you do go outside you will have to bundle up and protect that exposed skin.

Extended Forecast

The latest long range forecast is keeping this extreme cold around through the weekend for many of these areas. Stay safe!
