An unstable airmass and strong winds aloft will be the main focus for strong showers and storms today and tomorrow from Florida to Georgia.  All modes of severe weather will be in the forecast. Here is the latest severe weather update.

Sunday Severe Outlook

The State of Florida will be stormy today with the risk of tornadoes and damaging winds over 58 mph. Anyone with outdoor plans in these areas will need to have a severe plan in place in case you have to take cover.

Severe Risks

Here are the severe risks today for Florida. Tornadoes and damaging winds will be the main threats throughout the afternoon and evening.

Sunday Forecast

Throughout the morning and into the afternoon is when we will be dealing with today’s risk of severe storms.  The severe risk will die off by tonight and early Monday before the next round of severe weather arrives.

Monday Severe Outlook

Monday’s risk for severe weather will be located in many of the same areas of the severe risks for Sunday.

Severe Risks

Another risk for tornadoes will be possible across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.  Damaging winds and large hail will also be possible for these storms, but the tornado risk will be the highest threat.

Forecast

The timing for Monday’s storms will be during the afternoon and evening.  The severe storms will linger into early Tuesday morning as well.
