BEIJING, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- A new China-Europe freight train line was launched recently, linking east China's Hefei City with Helsinki, capital city of Finland.
The first train, carrying 86 standard containers, loaded with solar panels, LED light sources, electronic sensors and other "made-in-Anhui" products, departed from Hefei and will travel around 10,000 km to reach Helsinki.
Since 2014, three China-Europe freight train routes have been launched in Anhui, helping promote Anhui's trade interconnection with foreign countries, especially with countries along the Belt and Road.
At present, the China-Europe freight trains linking east China's Anhui province has made 273 trips and transported about 26,070 standard containers. (Edited by Jiang Feifan)
