Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G likely to launch in India very soon

Xiaomi recently launched Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite 4G in global markets and it looks like the 4G variant could soon make its way to India. The arrival of the ‘Lite’ phones was hinted at by a company executive in a tweet that doesn’t specify the name of the phone, but refers to a “Lite and Loaded” smartphone. Additionally, the Indian ROM for Mi 11 Lite 4G was spotted on the MIUI update tracker, further indicating the arrival of the 4G phone in India.

Measuring 6.8mm in thickness, the Mi 11 Lite 4G is the slimmest phone from Xiaomi. It’s also quite light, tipping the scale at 157gm, and manages to make room for a 4250mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G octa-core chipset paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. This is the same chipset that Xiaomi also uses in Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in India.

The 6.5-inch AMOLED display supports 10-bit colours, a 90Hz high refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is HDR10+ compliant. The display has a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera.

There are three cameras on the rear that includes a 64MP primary camera with f/1.79 aperture lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 lens, and a 5MP telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. Other notable highlights include side-mounted fingerprint sensors, dual speakers Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G launched in Europe for a starting price of EUR 299 or roughly Rs 25,600 when directly converted. We expect the India price to lie between INR 20,000 and INR 25,000.
