OnePlus today finally lifted the lid off from its much-anticipated and ‘affordable’ smartphone, the OnePlus Nord. The smartphone has launched in India and will be made available soon. The launch comes as the company moves to gain the sub- ₹30,000 market once again. The OnePlus Nord design has already been leaked by the company CEO.

While OnePlus Nord starts at ₹24,999, OnePlus Buds cost ₹4,990 in India. The smartphone's sale will begin from August via Amazon India and OnePlus India website.

There are three variants of the handset - 6GB+64GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB for ₹24,999, ₹27,999 and ₹29,999 respectively.

There are dual punch-hole selfie cameras on the OnePlus Nord. At the rear, there’s a quad camera setup stacked vertically on the side. This is different from the OnePlus 8 series as its cameras are placed at the centre. OnePlus Nord also comes in two colour options - Gray Onyx and Marble Blue.

As for the specifications, OnePlus Nord features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor that also supports 5G connectivity.

Running Android 10-based Oxygen OS, the smartphone is said to include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a macro sensor. It also has dual selfie cameras with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX 616 sensor and 105-degree wide angle sensor.

Backing the entire smartphone is the 4,100mAh battery, which also supports 30W wired Warp Charge fast charging tech.

The smartphone launched alongside its truly wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds. These sport AirPods like design and come with a charging case as well.
