The number of coronavirus cases and deaths continues to grow in the Colombian capital. That is why beginning on Monday the Mayor announced a number of strict new rules, to tighten lockdown measures.
Beginning this Monday certain neighborhoods of Bogota will be on strict lockdown. The decision was made when the Colombian Capital's Intensive Care Unit occupancy rate reached 85% the week ending July 10 – due to the rising number of coronavirus cases.
