Having trouble deciding what you or your kid could be for Halloween? Costume Swipe has a fairly novel way to help you decide at this late date. It will show you a number of options and give you the option to swipe left or right on the idea. Yes. This app is, in essence, like Tinder but for Halloween costumes. Those that make the cut will be saved into a list of “favorites” that you can consult again when you’re looking to narrow your options further.

The app does require registration to work. It’s also pretty unabashedly aimed at selling you the costumes it shows — you can go directly to a website to buy the costumes you like with a discount through the app. But users can choose to look to the app as a source of inspiration even if they don’t opt to buy directly from the store. You never know what you’re going to find, after all.
