The Zhongguancun (Haidian) Embodied Intelligent Innovation Industrial Park is rapidly developing comprehensive industrial chains for embodied robot production, a senior official of Zhongguancun in Beijing, one of China's sci-tech hubs, said.

"The ecosystem in the park encompasses technological research and development, pilot verification, scenario application, commercialization of achievements, and ecosystem collaboration," Du Ling, director of the industrial park development department of the high-tech industry advancement center under the Administrative Commitee of Zhongguancun, said during the "Vibrant China" media tour on Saturday.

Spanning 254,000 square meters, the park hosts numerous researchers and industry leaders from prestigious institutions such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

It consolidates an industrial cluster in which neighboring enterprises form a complete upstream and downstream supply chain.

Zhu Gang, CTO of Rossum Robot, said, "Our company, which is based here, has established collaborations with over 50 hospitals, successfully performing more than 800 bone fracture surgeries."

The park is also attractive to newcomers in the industry, including some transitioning from machinery parts automation to embodied robotics and some beginning robot training.

Su Rui, a newcomer to the robotics sector and CEO of Zhuoyu Ruichuang Robotics, said, "We established our new robot company in late 2025 and chose the park as our headquarters for our robotics operations, thanks to its rich industrial and academic clusters."

Su's company was previously an industrial leader in automation.

Many companies are startups, and many of them are training their robots in different sectors, including folding clothes, picking fruits, and handling heavy goods.

Anyverse Dynamics co-founder Wang Yingyun said, "As a startup, we are beefing up efforts in data collection and training in the park."

During the media tour, Sun Fuchun, deputy director of the Embodied Intelligence and Robotics Institute at Tsinghua University, said, "We are very interested in partnering with local researchers in Beijing and industrial startups."
