The celebration was to support the development of Vietnamese women in their scientific pathway and joint efforts in closing the gender gaps in science. In Vietnam, the 15th anniversary ceremony was held at the Green One UN House in Hanoi, to honor 38 outstanding Vietnamese women scientists who have been awarded the National Fellowships from 2009 to 2023. 

On this occasion, L'Oréal Vietnam and UNESCO Vietnam reaffirmed the partnership for joint actions to promote women and girls in science, and advance gender equality in the field of science in Vietnam.
