In order to enhance the computer skills of engineering college students at home and abroad, training talents and promoting international development of engineering education, International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology under the Auspices of UNESCO (IKCEST), International Centre for Engineering Education under the Auspices of UNESCO (ICEE) and XuetangX held 2018 Online Training Workshop on Micro-Diploma of Computer Science which was the Blended Training on Frontier Computer Knowledge Workshop.
Micro-Diploma of Computer Science includes Data Structures and Algorithm Design, Computational Thinking and Data Science, Computer Science and Programming and Agile Development, four courses. Users can Learn through these core curricula of Computer Science, quickly reach the vocational requirements of a particular field and get a new career boost.
From June 1st 2018 to August 31st, there were over nine hundred students studied on Engineering Education Knowledge Service (EEKS) website, most of them were from abroad.
During three months, the design and successful implementation of several teaching sections, such as autonomous learning, real-time interaction, prompt answering, classroom testing and curriculum evaluation, provide beneficial references for the knowledge service project. The outstanding students who passed all exams of four courses and obtained the certificates will be invited for next-stage learning in Tsinghua classrooms and obtain certificates for offline training workshop completion after passing tests in October 2018.
