Spatio-temporal distribution of drought in the Belt and Road Area during 1998-2015 based on TRMM precipitation data(1998~2015年基于TRMM降水数据的一带一路干旱时空分布)

Introduction: The spatio-temporal distribution of drought information data of countries and regions along the Belt and Road, is an important basis for disaster risk reduction. Based on the Tropical Rainfall Measurement Satellite (TRMM) 3B43 precipitation data, we used the Precipitation Abnormity Percentage drought model to study the monthly spatio-temporal distribution of drought in south region of N50° of OBOR area from 1998 to 2015.

China and International Experience in Natural Disaster Relief(防灾减灾典型案例的中国和国际经验)

Introduction: China is one of the countries with the most serious nature disaster in the world. Facing sudden major natural disasters, China has taken much effective disaster relief and got rich experiences in the past several serious disasters, and received widespread attention and praise from international society. Therefore, it is necessary to collect these typical disaster relief cases and share China’s nature disaster relief experiments to the world. This knowledge application tries to collect the knowledge information about the prevention before disaster, rescue in disaster and restoration after disaster. The Wenchuan earthquake, Zhouqu debris flow, Jiuzhaigou earthquake Cases in South Asia - Indian high temperature heat wave, Kubuqi desertification and Experience sharing of fire in Greater Khingan Range forest area are selected as typical cases. Serials of data, maps, pictures, videos, papers, planning reports and other related information about these cases are integrated in the content web interfaces.

The CPOAD obtains a large amount of public opinion analysis data from online social media to ensure the database upgrading dynamically and accurately.

Danish architects Bjarke Ingels Group have won a competition to masterplan a new gateway to Stockholm at the intersection of two motorways. (丹麦建筑师Bjarke Ingels Group赢得竞赛,高速公路交汇处打造通往斯德哥尔摩的新门户)

Introduction: Called Energy Valley, their proposal for Stockholmsporten will create an artificial valley containing a park with separate areas of forest, wetlands, grass lawns and hills, and will also feature a mirrored sphere hovering over the road junction. Stockholmsporten master plan define the Hjulsta intersection through sculpting the surrounding landscape and framing the automotive scale of the intersection. Prior to this competition, the traffic junction ‘Hjulsta’ would create physical and visual barriers between the surrounding neighborhoods and divide them into four areas totaling 580.000 m2,where the two highways E18 and E4 Stockholm Bypass meets in a three level intersection. BIG’s proposal, the Energy Valley, re-connects these in an un-hierarchical and democratic way through a continuous circular bike and pedestrian loop aligned with public buildings and functions, including a shopping- and sports centre, a hammam and a mosque which will attract visitors from Stockholm and its suburbs.
