
Over 2,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of new energy storage systems were brought online in Q4-2020 in the United States, a new report by Wood Mackenzie and the US Energy Storage Association shows.
According to the groups’ latest US Energy Storage Monitor, the numbers imply that there was a 182% increase from Q3-2020, making Q4 the new record quarter for US storage.
