Tenth meeting of the IAEG-SDGs

The tenth meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs), will be held from 21 to 24 October 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The meeting will be hosted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. This meeting will follow the same format as the previous IAEG-SDG meeting. There will be a Members meeting taking place during the first day (21 October) and a Plenary Session taking place during the following three days (22 - 24 October). During the plenary session, all countries, international and regional agencies and entities, and other stakeholders are invited to attend. The meeting will be hosted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. This meeting will follow the same format as the previous IAEG-SDG meeting. International Seminar on Open Data for the Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) and Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) are organising an International Seminar on Open Data for the Sustainable Development Goals, to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 25-27 September 2017. This Seminar will contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the importance of Open Data initiatives in supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, drawing from the Seminar on Open Data held prior to the 48th session of the UN Statistical Commission in March 2017. The objective of this Seminar is to review and recommend solutions and best practices for making data more open and accessible by addressing the practical question of how to make data more open in the context of national statistical systems, from planning to a sustained and effective operation. Furthermore, the topic of Open Data will be reviewed and discussed by the 49th session of the UN Statistical Commission. The fourth meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs), will be held from 15 to 18 November 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland. International Seminar on Data for Sustainable Development Goals: Data Disaggregation

The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) and Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) are organising an International Seminar on Data for Sustainable Development Goals: Data Disaggregation, to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 3-4 November 2016. This seminar will bring together international experts to discuss some of the challenges faced by national statistical systems in producing disaggregated data to monitor the sustainable development goals and targets and ensure no one is left behind. The main topics of the seminar include: national experiences and challenges in producing disaggregated data, innovative solutions to address the data needs of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and statistical capacity building initiatives aimed at reinforcing national statistical systems to produce disaggregated data. Sixth meeting of the HLG-PCCB

The sixth meeting of the High-level group on partnership, cooperation and capacity building for the 2030 Agenda (HLG-PCCB) will be held from 29 to 30 September 2016 in Budapest, Hungary. The meeting will be hosted by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. Please note that this meeting is open to HLG-PCCB members and selected issue partners only. At its 46th session, the UN Statistical Commission establish a High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for the 2030 Agenda, composed of national statistical offices, and regional and international organizations as observers operating under the auspices of the Statistical Commission.
